The 'Fahrrad 93'

The 'Fahrrad 93' regarded from some distance, looks very much like a common civilian Mountainbike with steel frameworks. Only the military-green, the frame pannier as well as the remarkable front porter refer to the special intended purpose.

The welded steel framework with bushing is made up of two pieces. The front part from the fork to the seatpost and the rear part which is screwed on for easy replacement in case of damage. With its 21.5 kg the new bicycle only saves half a kilogram of weight compared to the 'Ordonanzrad'. It is however built much more stable and designed to carry an additional load of 60 kg apart from the weight of the driver. details equiment
